Change the Search Provider in Outlook 2013
In Microsoft Outlook 2013, and maybe other versions, you can right-click on a word in an email and choose to do a web search on that word. This of course uses Bing but you can change that.
As with most of my posts, I gathered this together from multiple places on the Internet into a solution that worked for me.
Edit the registry by running regedit.exe.
Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 15.0 \ Common \ General.
Create a new String Value and name it “SearchProviderName”. Give it a name like “Google”; this is used in the right click menu, it will become “Search with Google”.
Create another String Value and name it “SearchProviderURI”. Give it a value of “https://www.google.com/search?q=".
Go into Outlook, find an email, right-click on a word, see the new entry for “Search with Google”.
